Over the years since publishing the book Constructive Utopism, I've improved the architecture more and more. Here's the current model.
I think that one day mankind will live like that — or else it will have no future at all.
I mostly used the game Sims 2 for the interior (which renders nicely and has a rich set of items that can be placed easily, however it only handles 90° angles for most items and 45° for walls, and uses a fixed grid of about 80×80 cm), and the modelling software SketchUp for the exterior (manually improving every picture by toning down the ugly black lines and switching shadows on or off depending on what looked best for the respective shot), pushing both to their limits on my not-so-fast computer. The only SketchUp objects that I didn't create myself are the fir trees, the office chairs and the canoes.
