| When I was a child, I liked nightmares and scary stories. My imagination was even so convincing, that almost all my classmates more or less believed in my stories, and especially three girls would add their own details. I got terribly scared myself when one of my best friends stated that I would be responsible if anyone would commit suicide out of fear, and then my stories were not real. Well... no one died. And anyway: my stories (almost) always contained also positive elements, good powers, friendly ghosts and so on. Today I still write horror stories, but also parodies, psycho-thrillers, science-and-social-fiction and more. Some short stories I will publish here. Some are written in what I namend ´fragment style´ - a way to tell stories by using a minimum of words. I am afraid that I´m not as good a translator as I am a writer. Translating from English to German is not very difficult. (Therefore I write all articles on this website first in English, and then translate them into my mother tongue.) But usually I write stories first in German, using words and phrases that I cannot easily translate. | Als ich ein Kind war, mochte ich Alpträume und Gruselgeschichten. Meine Phantasie war so überzeugend, daß fast alle meiner Klassenkameraden mehr oder weniger meine Geschichten glaubten, und vor allem drei Mädchen fügten ihre eigenen Details hinzu. Ich selbst bekam es so richtig mit der Angst zu tun, als einer meiner besten Freunde meinte, ich wäre daran schuld, wenn sich jemand vor Angst umbringen würde, und meine Geschichten gar nicht wahr wären. Ui... aber es starb niemand. Und überhaupt: meine Geschichten enthielten (fast) immer auch positive Elemente, gute Kräfte, Schutzgeister und so weiter. Heute schreibe ich immer noch Gruselgeschichten, aber auch Parodien, Psycho-Thriller, Science-and-Social-Fiction und weiteres. Ein paar Kurzgeschichten werde ich hier veröffentlichen. Manche sind in einer von mir ´Fragment-Stil´ getauften Form geschrieben: mit einem Minimum an Wörtern Geschichten erzählen. |
