AdBlock Plus removes most web ads,
while with Personal Blocklist you can remove
those websites from Google search results
that block visitors who use an adblocker.
Websites should either be free or grant access via direct fees,
but spamming the visitor with ads is very bad manners.
Ads are significant stressors in our media-overladen world,
a psychological assault of visual and mental distraction.
With adblockers such as AdBlock Plus, you get rid of
most of the ads on the internet.
Some websites, however, block visitors who
defend themselves with an adblocker.
To remove those once and for all from your Google searches,
you can use search result filters such as Personal Blocklist.
Of course, you can use them also to remove further websites
that you never want to visit (again), such as hate forums
of no interest to you, etc.
Needless to say, Personal Blocklist also works with
Google's picture search, so you can finally say goodbye
to those annoying Pinterest
results once and for all.
